There are twodifferent trails that your family can explore within the state park. These twoare the Yaupon Trail and the Sculptured Oak Trail which are both less than amile each. Each trail is easy trails as they will be perfect for anyone who isnew to hiking or someone who is an expert. Be sure to bring with you on your hikesunscreen, bugspray, a hat, and a camera. You will be able to see many localtrees and many different species of birds and wildlife. What a great way toexplore the state park with the family and explore these amazing trails too.  

Bike & Run Park

If youâre looking for another great park that you can headto for some great walking trails is located at Bike & Run Park. This parkis also known to the locals as âœThe Hulkâ� because it is located near theIntracoastal Waterway in Carolina Forest. With having 7 miles worth of trailson 70 acres of land, itâs sure to be one of the largest parks in the area. Notonly can you bring your bike to ride on one of the many trails, but you canalso bring the family too. We promise you that this is one park like youâvenever seen before especially here in Myrtle Beach!

Huntington Beach State Park

Huntington Beach State Park is another great location thatyou can go to for some great walking trails. Not only will you see plenty of wildlife,but youâll also be able to view nature as well. Donât miss the Sandpiper PondNature Trail as it has a pond and a deck that you will be able to observe egretsand herons. There is also the Kerrigan Nature Trail that offers you views of alagoon and we can say itâs quite the view too. Be sure to bring a camera, ahat, sunscreen and plenty of energy to do with the family.
